We should disable comments in this blog…. people don’t seem to understand that ITS NOT FOR BUG REPORTS. There are places for that.

The kudos’ that are here are well liked… but there’s another place for those too.

After updating to Poya, I can no longer edit my existing pages.
I can make new pages, and edit those, but not the existing.
    I updated from 1.6.4.

    Please, this is a problem….

    I have tried everything.

  13. Tim Oxley Says:

calguy1000: pfft. It’s always the people, never the software.

Because this happens regularly, rather than disabling comments, why not just put a set of links at the bottom of each release post saying something like:

“To report bugs with this release, go to the forge (insert link) or contact calguy1000 on his private landline (insert number)”

“To give kudos, please donate a small amount to Ted’s strippers & beer fund (insert link).”

  14. calguy1000 Says:

@Tim: agreed, always the people… if you build a better mouse trap, some person will find a way to foul it up :)

and I think we should use your phone number :)

Seriously though… people please don’t post bug reports here, we have a forge for that. If you want us to take notice of things, take the effort and file them in the appropriate places. it’s well documented.
