Flat out, CMSMS is the easiest, best SEO optimized OS CMS out there. It just.............works and works and works. There is no other simpler CMS for the end user. With the ability to fine tune all page meta tags , titles and descriptions this site started popping up in the first ten SERP results on Google for several of the terms I keyed in on.

I look forward to developing mores sites with CMSMS.

Having just started a project using joomla, I can say with conviction that CMSMS totally deserves its award, and I only expect it to do better next year. Not only is it easier for end users (by an order of magnitude!) but for us developers the architecture and separation of function and presentation means that the modules are soooo much easier to use and transform than the joomla alternative.

I am looking forward to returning to the warm safe waters of CMSMS development!

congratulations!

Forgive my enthusiasm.

Congratulations! Definitely you gays deserve!!"

LOL

Yes, all us gays love CMS Made simple, it's good for straights as well though!

This is really awesome news and we should flog it as hard as possible! ASAP get yourselves a banner on the home page announcing:
"In Top 3 CMS's for 2007! " or something to that effect.
Also very excited about the revamping of cmsms style! When is the fresh new look due? With the 2.0 release?

This gives you guys HEAPS of credit. Before, I'd say, "Yeah i use cms made simple, it's really good."
but now i can say "Yeah, I use cms made simple, it's one of the top 3 content management systems for 2007! (even though it doesn't have an ecommerce module)"

Spread the word!

And great, $2000 for the project. I guess you could do with more donations, maybe a wikipedia style donation's system rather than the 'paypal donate' hidden at the top of the screen. Is there any facility to get ads placed on your website? Say someone wanted to advertise their web design company or maybe their "Photoshop to CMSMS template" services?

As mentioned numerous times already in comments by others, this recognition is well deserved. I've tried all the other CMS systems out there and standardized with CMS Made Simple because it lives up to its name. I've developed 30+ sites with it and can't imagine developing a new site without it.

My sincerest thanks to those who have and continue to develop this great software that stand outs out not just because of its features, but because unlike most the alternatives it prioritizes usability.

I'm not sure why you didn't expect to win, place or show! CMSMS is an awesome platform and will only get better. I've tried using Joomla and Drupal and they are so complex and much more complicated to get up and running. I think CMSMS is just fantastic and can't wait for the improvements that are certainly to come.
