Announcing CMS Made Simple 1.1.3.1

September 22nd, 2007 by Tatu Wikman

So, 1.1.3 had a small problem with stylesheets which is now fixed in 1.1.3.1.

We recommend that all users upgrade their sites as soon as possible. The files (including diffs) can be found on the download page here or on the forge.

Would it be possible to get md5sums posted with each new release/diff?

  2. Simon Platten Says:

I have not applice 1.1.3.1 on my live site set, applied it as an upgrade to my 1.1.1 installation on dev. system using the upgrade.php in the install folder, now I get:

Notice: Use of undefined constant CMS_VERSION - assumed ‘CMS_VERSION’ in C:\eska\lib\adodb_lite\adodb.inc.php on line 2

  3. Simon Platten Says:

I just saw the fix the the CMS version, however I’ve also found this in the TinyMCE module, reported when you go into TinyMCE from the modules in admin mode.

Notice: Undefined index: tiny_live_textareas in C:\eska\modules\TinyMCE\TinyMCE.module.php on line 104

I’ve only been using this a few minutes and I wouldn’t reccommend upgrading to this, it seems to have been rushed out without adequate testing.

For the fix for the CMS_VERSION warning see this post in the Forum

Is it stable enough to upgrade?

  6. Harold Tyber Says:

With the two corrections mentioned here, I have had no problems on my site.

Just to reassure people about the reported notice

Would it be possible to reactivate the freshmeat.net account in the future ?
Freshmeat is my source to keep up to date to several projects and as there is no other opportunity to subscribe to an “important stuff” newsletter this would be a nice thing….
Btw, last change there is 2005.

    Bye,
    Andre

  9. James Says:

What about Simon’s concerns at the top there (the second one about Tiny), is this latest release ready?

  10. Walter Says:

Just upgraded to 1.1.3.1 from 1.0.8
Steps taken: 1.0.8 to 1.1. unpacked the zip, ftp it to ISP, install/upgrade.
Next unpacked 1.1.3.1 zip, ftp’d to ISP, install/upgrade
    This was a breeze, thanks.

  11. Simon Platten Says:

It wasn’t my intention to cause doubts about this release and these could have been avoided if ALL warnings and notices are kepted enabled for those developing CMSMS.

I haven’t found anything further with 1.1.3.1, these initial warnings were displayed within 2 minutes of upgrading which gave me cause for concern however since then I’ve used the new version a lot and haven’t come across anything else.

I will be upgrading the my online version tonight.

  12. Marcel Says:

Hmmm, my css wil not work with the new version

  13. Simon Platten Says:

I upgraded fixed the known issues and haven’t had any problems with it.
