Judging by what I see above, I guess I'll wait till 1.1.2 comes out. I've been burned once with 1.1

Re: 1.1 -> 1.1.1 upgrade. The SQL syntax changes for Postgres have upset my older MySQL installation. Easy to patch around. See my forum entry on this.

Have upgraded from 1.1 to 1.1.1 by downloading the full release file (not diff) and then FTP'ing over existing site.
Then did chmod on config.php and ran upgrade/install.php and this all worked fine.

BUT... No news.
The old news has disappeared (only two news items were actually present anyway as this is a fairly new site)
and also if I now add new news stories then it seems to work BUT they never appear either on the site or in the
Admin Content ->News ->Article list.

News Module is 2.3.0.2. Logging in using Admin (all permissions checked). Looking at cms_module_news (and the categories and the seq tables), I see my 4 news items as I added them.

Do I post this as a bug or is there something else I should be doing ?.

Just to confirm: neither the .zip nor the .gz diff package contain a "modules" folder.

Cheers,
Alex

Yes, updates are always mentioned.
However, I'm curious how can be news module pagination issues solved as there is no module folder in the diff package. Maybe mistakenly omitted...?

Nice :)
Diff update done. Wasn't a very big deal, done in a few minutes on a site I manage.
Not any obvious changes experienced yet, but it runs stable as it seems, even with some modifications in various modules and the admin area.
I wonder... are there any security related updates done? Because it's not mentioned in the changelog explicitly. Or are security related issues always mentioned?
Can't wait for the next release ;)
